Lizzi Dripping | BFL 4ply

This mini OOAK range has been dyed to celebrate my wee sister turning 30 years old! 

Lizzi is my absolute rock and best friend and I could never have got this far without her unwavering support and occasional cheeky comment. 

These colourways are super personal to our shared family history and childhood growing up together.

Lizzi used to change her name almost as often as she changed her hairstyle when growing up. As an Elizabeth she has been known over the years as Beth, Izzi, Lilli, Lizzy, Lizzie, Lillibet and her full Sunday name (usually when she's in trouble) amongst others. Despite the numerous names the one she absolutely hated when she was wee was 'Lizzie Dripping' - a local nickname for girls with their heads in the clouds (and the title of a early 70s kids tv show). Owing most likely to her disdain for the nickname it became a running joke in the extended family and it was only when she grew up that the sentimental value to the name has caused it to reappear in our lives.

Made using professional acid dyes and although every care has been taken to ensure that the dyes are completely colourfast there may be a small amount of crocking during the first wash and usage. For more information about how to care for your hand dyed yarns click here
