Rachael
Cat & Sparrow was started by two fibre friends in Australia in 2013, and after relocating to the UK in 2015 Rachael set up Cat & Sparrow UK. She dyes fibre and yarn at her home in Bristol, which she shares with several spinning wheels, looms, a husband and his bluegrass instrument hoard, and two children who have to squeeze in there somewhere. She has a yen for natural fibres, particularly silk and Bluefaced Leicester, and loves to experiment with colour and texture.

Cookston Crafts

Claire
Cookston Crafts was established in the Aberdeenshire town of Ellon in 2015 as a place for Claire to share her love of crafts. As well as her beautiful hand dyed yarns, Claire produces awesome crochet kits which are available on her own website and teaches knitting, crochet and machine sewing classes from her lovely wee workshop.

Beardychiel is a podcaster, pattern designer and all round good-egg hailing from the far north reaches of Scotland and the town of Thurso. He has a range of beautiful natural yarns that have been sourced from the local farmers in the Caithness region, supporting the local economy and providing some unusual fibre blends such as Charollais with Alpaca and Alpaca with Rose.

Based in Aberdeen, Arlene specialises in reupholstering and upcycling furniture using top quality certified Harris Tweed fabric and also produces Scottish themed gifts and trinkets.

Sealy MacWheely is lucky enough to stock a unique selection of beautiful hand turned spindles created specially by the wonderful John Hamilton. Each spindle is lovingly hand crafted and features both a hook and a notch for top and bottom whorl spinning. Every spindle is hand tested before being sent out to ensure a perfect balance and are available in a variety of woods including yew, ash, cherry and beech.

Xoxo Designs was initially set up by Ruth in order to raise funds for Maggie’s Centres following her mother’s diagnosis of ovarian cancer in 2013. After thankfully given the all clear, Ruth continues to design her own colourful greetings cards, cute enamel pin badges and motivational prints taking inspiration from patterns, flowers, space, typography, books and the wider creative community!
