Warp Up and Weave a Scarf on Rigid Heddle Loom Workshop

Learn to weave your own scarf on a Rigid Heddle Loom. Weaving is the perfect way to show off your hand spun or beautiful indy-dyed yarns and is easy to do once you know how!

This full day workshop will introduce you to the loom and its components and give you chance to warp up and play with some basic techniques.

You will be warping up your own rigid heddle loom using either a warping board or the direct warping technique with a hand dyed Sealy MacWheely 4ply yarn and then given free rein to create your own snuggly chunky scarf with a beautiful chunky merino weft over the course of the afternoon.

All materials and equipment provided but if you have a yarn in your stash that you would like to use for your warp please feel free to bring it along!

11am - 5pm 
Tea and cake provided with a break for lunch (packed lunch recommended)

All workshops will take place within the shop, located at 11 Donaldson Crescent G66 1XF - there is parking to the front of the premises available on a first-come basis plus extra parking around the corner.

Terms & Conditions

• Full workshop payments are refundable in full up to 72 hours before the commencement of workshop. 
• Any cancellations within 72 hours will incur loss of a £10 cancellation fee. This can be used as a deposit against another workshop if requested in advance.
• In the case of a no-show all payment is non-refundable. 
• If workshop is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances all payment will be refunded in full or can be used against future workshops upon request.
