Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with labels, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. In the case of hand dyed yarn, yarn must be skeined with original ties unless return is due to fault with the product. Breakages due to the yarn manufacturing process are ineligible for return unless more than 3 breaks or splices are present in a 100g skein as per industry standards. 

Colours may vary due to monitor and technological differences and colour perception.  

Due to the nature of hand dyeing there is always a risk of colours bleeding or crocking. It is always recommended that you perform a gauge swatch before starting any projects and soaking in wool wash to test before use, particularly when using heavily saturated colourways or high contrasting yarns. Sealy MacWheely is not responsible for any perceived damage caused by crocking yarns should a test swatch not have been performed in advance. To start a return, you can contact us at katie@sealymacwheely.com. If your return is accepted we shall provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please note that shipping costs will not be refunded unless the return is due to damage in transit which should be disclosed prior to returning the item.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Please note that Majacraft spinning wheels are ineligible for refund once the order has been placed and accepted with Majacraft as they are made to order and therefore a custom product. Dispatch times are displayed at time of purchase on the website, by processing payment you are acknowledging that you are aware of the lead time of custom ordered items and refunds will not be issued due to any manufacturing delays. 

We retain the right to refund products minus a 10% processing fee for larger items which have been back ordered in specially and are not defective and not being returned due to damage or fault. 


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not within 3 days of the items arrival at the shop. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take up to a week for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
