When It Rains... | BFL 4ply

Some days things just don’t go the way you’d hoped. 2020 has been an absolute shocker of a year for us all and this yarn for me kinda summed it all up.

It was dyed as a batch for the Kickstarter: Revamped Preorder last month but despite following exactly the same process as each of the previous batches this one came out muddy. I had already lost a lot of time due to my poorly hands preventing me from getting to the dye pots and this was the straw that broke the camel’s back and I was ready to give it all in and go back to bed to hibernate through until spring. 

After a break and a cup of tea, however, I decided that all was not lost and overdyed areas that needed it and added a few speck led and suddenly I love this yarn - perhaps even more than the original.

It is not perfect, nothing is, but as the old saying goes: when it rains, look for rainbows 🌈  

This is a one of a kind yarn and will not be repeated under any circumstances - my nerves couldn’t take it!

75% Superwash British Bluefaced Leicester 25% Nylon 4ply Yarn

Made using professional acid dyes and although every care has been taken to ensure that the dyes are completely colourfast there may be a small amount of dye leakage during the first wash. 

Although every care has been taken to portray colours accurately please bear in mind that they may vary depending on your monitor and colour perception.
