Cake Winding Service

All my hand dyed yarn arrives with you in the form of a skein which is the best format for long term storage and allows you to get a more accurate portrayal of the colourway that you have purchased. You cannot, however, use your yarn directly from the skein and it needs to be balled or caked before you can start your knitting or crochet project. If you do not have access to a ball winder or willing volunteer to help you I am happy to cake up your yarn before shipping at the cost of £3 per skein.

Please bear in mind that this will add roughly 24 hours to your dispatch time as caked yarns have to be shipped via my local post office in addition to the time it takes to cake your skein for you. Likewise, precaked skeins are classed as custom orders and are therefore ineligible for refunds.
